Membership Renewal for 2020

If you have not yet renewed your membership for 2020 please check your emails to find your invoice that was sent to you on 1 January. The invoice contains a link that you can use to make payment.

Please note: Invoices raised prior to 1 January which have not yet been paid have been cancelled by the API and a new invoice was emailed on 1 January. This new invoice will be the only invoice able to be accessed and paid. 

The below provides information on how to renew your membership but if you have any queries please contact or call 1800 111 API. 

Renewal of Membership Options

To renew your membership now and continue to enjoy the many benefits of your API Membership:

  1. Go to and click Login
  2. Once logged in, go to My Portal
  3. Go to Transactions
  4. Locate your 2020 Membership Renewal invoice in the list
  5. Click Make Payment and follow the steps.

Do you need to create an invoice for payment by your firm

  1. Go to and click Login
  2. Once logged in, go to My Portal
  3. Go to Transactions
  4. Locate your 2020 Membership Renewal invoice in the list:
    1. If your firm is making payment by cheque, please print a copy of your invoice using the "Print invoice" option
    2. If your firm is making payment by credit card, please choose the "Resend Invoice" option. This will send your invoice as an email which you can forward for payment. This will provide a link which will allow for the invoice to be paid online.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points

It is your responsibility to ensure that your CPD records are compliant by 31 December 2019. CPD entries may be lodged online at in My Portal> My Content > CPD Diary. You are not required to lodge any API CPD activities/events as they are uploaded automatically on successful completion if the event registration system is used. 

PLEASE NOTE: Members who have a RMM expiry date of 31 December 2019 must complete a new Risk Management Module prior to that date in order to receive their 2019 CPD compliance certificate.  Please contact us at should you require any further information or assistance. 

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Certificates

2019 CPD Compliance Certificates will be available online from 1 January 2020 at in My Portal> My Content > Certificates, for members who have met 2019 CPD requirements. This will over-ride 2018 CPD Compliance Certificates, and members should download existing certificates by then if needed.
